Tjing's Terms of Service

Introduction

We are Montjing AB, a company registered under Swedish law ("Tjing," "We," "Us," "Our") with organization number 559301-5950. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access and use of the Tjing service. Please read these Terms carefully before using the service, as they define your rights and responsibilities.

By registering as a user with Tjing and using the service, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you disagree with these Terms, you may not access or use the service. If you are a parent or guardian, by signing up and connecting your child's account, you consent to their use of the service.

Tjing is a global service, and specific terms may apply based on your jurisdiction. Unless a local version of the Terms exists, this version applies.

About the Service

Tjing provides a mobile application designed for children and parents to manage money, help families handle children's finances, and educate children about money ("the Service"). The service is available through our mobile application ("the App") and our website (Tjing.com) ("the Website") and is intended for use by the entire family under parental supervision. The money in Tjing is not real money. The parent is the bank and creates coins that represents the money that they owe their child.

The service includes a free version (Basic) and a paid version (Premium) with additional features. The same terms apply to both.

Parent and Child Use

To use the service, you must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent. Parents or guardians are responsible for their child's use of the service and must ensure that their child understands how to use it appropriately. Parents or guardians are also responsible for all activity under their child's account.

Only parents or guardians may sign up as the primary account holder and create their children's wallets as a part of their family account structure. After initial connection and approval, other supporters like grandparents or siblings can be connected to the family account as well.

Subscriptions and Fees

Tjing offers additional services through subscription plans. Subscription fees are paid monthly or annually and are prolonged automatically for another month at the end of each month or for another year at the end of each year. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but fees already paid are non-refundable. Failure to pay the subscription fee may result in service limitations or temporary suspension.

Tjing may determine which future product developments or additional services are included in your subscription. Changes to fees or pricing models will be communicated on our website and to you directly.

User Responsibilities

To use the service, you must accept the Terms and create a user account by providing accurate personal data, including a username and phone number ("User Account").

You must use the service legally and responsibly, ensuring your information is complete, true, and up to date. You are responsible for any use under your account, including by your child. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, notify Tjing immediately and update your credentials.

The service is intended solely for managing children's finances and educating them about money. You may not use it for commercial purposes or any other purpose unrelated to its intended use. Unauthorized activities such as copying, reverse engineering, or scraping data from the service are strictly prohibited.

You must not use the service in any illegal, harmful, or offensive manner. If you breach these Terms or if your actions result in liability, you are responsible for any resulting costs or expenses, including legal fees. This includes any misuse of your account unless proven fraudulent.

Personal Data and Privacy

Tjing prioritizes your privacy and applies necessary security measures to protect your personal data. Your information will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

Termination or Suspension of Service

You can cancel your subscription at any time. If you cancel before the current monthly or yearly period ends, the subscription will continue until the current period expires. A monthly period consists of 30 days, and a yearly period consists of 365 days. Cancellation can be done either through Google Play Store or Apple Store.

Tjing may terminate your agreement and suspend or end your use of the service if you breach these Terms, fail to provide requested information, or if we suspect fraudulent or illegal activity.

Upon termination, you must stop using the service. If terminated due to a breach, you will not receive a refund for any fees paid. Tjing may also terminate your agreement without cause, in which case prepaid fees will be refunded.

Proprietary Rights

The service and all related intellectual property rights are owned by Tjing and its licensors. You are granted a limited license to use the service as specified in these Terms. This license does not permit the use of Tjing' trademarks or other commercial symbols. All rights not expressly granted are retained by Tjing.

Changes to the Service and Terms

Tjing may update these Terms at any time. The latest version will be posted on the website, and changes will take effect 30 days after publication. Significant changes will be communicated via the app or website, and users will have the option to terminate the service before the changes take effect.
